PMO takes note of Edu-scam, writes to Chief Secy

SHILLONG: The Prime Minister’s Office has asked Meghalaya Chief Secretary Barkos Warjri to take necessary steps on the complaints of a candidate affected by the education scam.
Nazmul Hashan from Phulbari, West Garo Hills had written to the Prime Minister on September 1 seeking his intervention on the plight of many eligible candidates who were affected by the education scam.
Hashan highlighted how he and others were deprived of jobs due to the scam whereas others who were not eligible are serving as teachers in the state by malpractice.
