SHILLONG: On Sunday afternoon, one Maruti car (ML-05L-1425) driven by Banshankham Kharkongor (20) knocked down Bolybestar Swer (30), Paul Syiem (37), Wanname Syiem (9) and Evanstar Riahtam (9) at Mawblei, Shillong. Victims sustained injuries and were removed to NEIGRIHMS, Mawdiangdiang. A criminal case has been registered and police arrested the driver.

Shillong: On Saturday, BSF personnel of Shella BOP (East Khasi Hills) assaulted one Zibal Sangma (54) at Shella (East Khasi Hills). Victim sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital Shillong.
