SHILLONG: Bansara Eye Care Centre along with Society for Promotion of Eye Care and Sight and World Diabetes Foundation will organise a Global Diabetes Walk on November 14 on World Diabetes Day, to raise awareness among the public on how to protect sight by preventing Diabetic Retinopathy and also preventing Diabetes.
The walk will be flagged off from Ward’s Lake, Shillong, at 7 am and will conclude at Don Bosco Stadium, Laitumkhrah. A friendly soccer match will also be played on the occasion.
