Anonymous letter: Lawyer under scanner

SHILLONG:  A city-based lawyer has come under the scanner of the High Court of Meghalaya in connection with an anonymous letter on Garo Hills situation the Chief justice had received recently.
During the hearing of a case,   the Chief Justice Uma Nath Singh, while expressing his doubt regarding the letter, said that it was a handiwork of a lawyer.
According to sources, the Chief Justice even charged the lawyer, who was present in the Court. The lawyer failed to give any satisfactory reply to the charges levelled against him, sources added.
