SHILLONG: One person succumbed to his injuries after the truck in which he was travelling fell into a gorge at Jri village in East Khasi Hills. The incident took place on Friday at 9.30 pm when a truck (ML-09A-0064) driven by one Lekin Khyriem fell into a gorge at Jri village.
In the incident, two occupants identified as Timur Mylliem and Dilli Mynsong sustained injuries and were removed to Civil Hospital, Shillong. However Dilli Tynsong succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
