Resubelpara: The North Garo Hills District Administration in collaboration with the Arts and Culture department will organize a two- day Winter Festival on December 16 and 17 at the Resubelpara Mini Stadium which is expected to be graced by the Chief Minister Mukul M Sangma.
The programme will be inaugurated at 10:30 am on December 16 and there will be events consisting a grand aqua-fest, indigenous games, inter-locality tug of war, marathon race, archery and Garo wrestling (Gando Makkal) and others. The festival will also be entertained by a rock show to be performed by the Voice of North Garo Hills group and other well known bands.
