FKJGP to press Govt on entry, exit points

SHILLONG: The Federation of Khasi Jaintia and Garo People (FKJGP), Central Executive Committee (CEC) in a meeting held on December 12 decided to press upon the Government the need to have entry and exit points in place across the State to check influx of illegal immigrants.
The issue of border fencing and the need for construction of fence on the zero-line was also discussed during the meeting.
Office bearers elected
The organization also elected new office bearers with Wellbirth Rani and Dundee Cliff Khongsit named the working president and general secretary respectively.
