CCIB chairman no more

SHILLONG: Prominent leader of Coordination Committee of International Border (CCIB) and Ranbah Dong of Dawki, Mitford Ryngksai passed away on Thursday at his residence at Dawki.
While holding the post of Chairman of the CCIB, Ryngksai  had taken up several issues concerning the border residents.
Federation of Khasi States, Federation of Ri War Mihngi Local Dorbar and Dorbar ki Khlieh Nongsynshar Ka Ri Hynniewtrep in an urgent meeting convened by John Kharshiing on Thursday expressed shock over the sudden demise of Ryngksai and conveyed condolences to the bereaved family.
CCBI spokesperson GH Kharshanlor also condoled his death.
