MCA beat Guwahati Cricket Academy in exhibition match
Shillong: MCA defeated Guwahati Cricket Academy by 2 wickets in the Exhibition Match of the U-16 at Polo Ground in Shillong on Sunday. Guwahati chose to bat and they were all out for 99 runs in 31.3 overs. Anish Charak shines in the bowling department by taking 6 wickets for 14 runs while Wilco Marak and Aryan Borah bagged 2 wickets each. For Guwahati Putul Gogoi scored 37 runs off 43 balls. In reply, MCA reached the target in 30.1 overs scoring 103 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Ranjan Yadav scored 26 runs off 69 balls and Kingshuk Das scored 15 runs off 29 balls. While Sanjib Barman and Putul Gogoi claimed 3 and 2 wickets respectively.
Super, First Division fixtures of SCA Cricket League announced
Shillong: The Shillong Cricket Association will start the Super and First Divisions of the Inter Club Shillong Cricket League 2016. Malki CC will play Royal CC on January 3, United XI CC will play MLP on January 4, Aurobindo CC will play Sales XI on January 5 and Young Guns CC will play Lumbatngen CC on January 6. Group A consist of United XI, NFU, Keating Road SC, TnTSputnik CC and MLP. Group B consist of Lawmali SC, Malki CC, Nongthymmai SC, Riatsamthiah SC and Royal CC. Meanwhile in the First division league, Group A will have Aurobindo CC, Madanryting SC, Malki SC, Venom Speed CC, Sales XI and Group B will have Young Guns CC, Lumdiengjri SC, Langsning SC, Sumer CC and Lumbatngen CC.
