Second FIR filed against fraudster

SHILLONG: A second FIR has been filed against one Anuj Kumar Hazarika for duping one person of Rs.16,60,000 with the promise of helping the victim get a medical seat.
Tympang Lang Laloo of Lumpyrdi Iongpiah, Jowai, lodged a complaint that between March, 2015 and September, 2015, the accused had cheated him of Rs.16.6 lakh with  the promise of getting him a medical seat.
Earlier, Comely War of Wahiajer had lodged a complaint that between June 5 and September 7 this year, the same accused had cheated him of Rs.25,50,000 with a promise to help him secure a medical seat for his daughter.
West Jaintia Hills district police chief R. Muthu said police had registered a case and were on the job to trace the accused person.
