Hek donates blankets to 40 senior citizens

SHILLONG:  As many as 40 elder citizens in Mawpat were presented with blankets as a Christmas gift by Health and Family Welfare Minister and local MLA, A.L. Hek, on Thursday.
Earlier, Hek also inaugurated a cultural centre for the youths of the area.
East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner P.S. Dkhar, who was also present on the occasion, said the centre will be of great benefit for the youths in holding various events.
