Mawsynram CHC doctors, staff back MO

SHILLONG: The doctors and staff of Mawsynram CHC have come out in support of the Medical Officer (MO) of the health centre who was questioned by the FKJGP for alleged dereliction of duty.
According to a statement signed by the doctors and staff of the CHC, on receiving the news of the of bus mishap on December 15 the MO, Dr H. Lyngdoh left his private clinic at Lawbah and rushed to the health centre.
While it was true that the MO had met with an accident, but he along with dental surgeon Dr P M Nadon provided treatment to as many as 40 patients and referred several of them to other centres, hospitals.
It may be mentioned that the FKJGP Mawsynram Circle had alleged that the MO was drunk on duty and could not carry out his task properly.
