Muzaffarnagar: A minor girl was allegedly raped by a person at knife-point in Gangeru village of Shamli district, police said on Saturday.
According to a complaint by the victim’s father, the 14-year-old girl had gone to a vacant plot to relieve herself yesterday when the accused Anees Ahamad took her to a nearby field and raped her at knife-point, SHO N K Yadav said.
The girl has been sent for medical examination and a case has been registered against Anees Ahmad, the SHO said, adding hunt was on to nab the absconding accused. (PTI)
