SHILLONG: One person died on the spot while another sustained injuries when an unknown truck dashed against the motorcycle (ML-05D-4644) they were riding at Umroi Madan in Ri Bhoi on Sunday evening.
In the incident, the rider Baiasuklang Suting (21) died on the spot while the pillion rider Kardinglius Suting (20) sustained injuries and was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.
Police is investigating into the matter.
