2 PWD officers get service extension

SHILLONG: The State Cabinet on Wednesday decided to extend the services of two PWD officers till April 30.
Chief Minister Mukul Sangma said that the services of Chief Engineer of PWD (NH) C Momin and Chief Engineer, PWD State Road L Passah who were scheduled to retire in January and February respectively have been extended since the current financial year is ending and their resignation would dislocate many programmes which are yet to be implemented in the state by PWD.
