SP cautions against fake company advertisement

SHILLONG: East Khasi Hills police is taking up a case against the persons behind a racket responsible for publishing advertisements in English dailies offering to install 3G + 4G towers in people’s property and terrace by offering an advance of Rs. 60 lakhs.
East Khasi Hills SP M Kharkrang said that it has come to the notice of the District police that one M/S Shrikrishna Communication is offering to install 3G + 4G towers in people’s property and terrace by offering an advance of Rs. 60 lakhs and a rent of Rs. 80,000 per month along with a job, through advertisement in one of the english local dailies.
He said that this is a fake company that intends only to extract money and hence the public have been cautioned not to fall prey to such offers and to first confirm from the service providers before making any payment.
