Day 2 results of Wushu test event

Shillong:  There was no drop in action in the second day of the Wushu Federation Cup Test Event for the upcoming 12th SAG at Rising Sun sports complex in Assam Rifles here on Sunday.
In  the Taichijian Taichiquan Boy’s Category, Md. Zahid Chisti (SSCB) bagged the gold medal scoring 8.30 in Taichi and 8.59 in Taichijian. Umesh Yadav 0f Chandigarh bagged Silver Medal scoring 7.66 in Taichi and 8.25 in Taichijian. Bishal Baruah (Assam) bagged the bronze medal scoring 7.45 points in Taichi and 7.73 in Taichijian respectively.
In the Taichijian Taichiquan Girl’s Category, Rita Devi of CRPF bagged the Gold Medal scoring 7.90 points in Taichi and 7.66 in Taichijian. While Minu Munda of Jharkhand bagged Silver scoring 7:00 points in Taichi and 7:26 in Taichijian and Bhanu Priya bronze medal scoring 7.20 in Taichi and 6.00 points in Taichijian.

Clarification
The news item regarding the South Asian Games 2016 test event for table tennis published on January 24, 2016 contained an inadvertent error. The winners of the junior mixed doubles final were Meghalaya’s Camelia Diengdoh and Bibek Das, who defeated Tanushree Das Gupta and Suranjit Dey (also of Meghalaya) 11-9, 11-9, 4-11, 7-11, 11-7. The error is regretted.
