Blank calls made to Fire Service
Mary G.T Sangma, SP, Fire & Emergency Services, Meghalaya lodged a complaint that on January  26 at around 8.30 am, unknown miscreants continuously dialed blank calls to the telephones of Fire & Emergency Services Control Room, Shillong.
Truck capsized  
On January 25, one truck (AS-18C-0559) driven by Shyam Kanta Sinha (38) capsized at 3rd Mile, Upper Shillong. As a result, two occupants of the truck sustained minor injuries.
Woman found unconscious  
On January 25 at around 1.35 am, a woman identified as Merrydolin Lyngdoh (45) was found lying unconscious on the road at Lummawbah Junction, Upper Shillong. She was admitted at CH Shillong and matter is under enquiry.
Shoes worth over Rs 2 lakh stolen
On January 25 at around 4.30 am, miscreants broke into the godown of one Sera Ahmed at Shoe Line, Bara Bazar and stole shoes valued around Rs. 2,50,000.
One found unconscious
On January 24 at around 7.30 pm, one Silver Kharkongor of Smit village (EKH) was found lying unconscious on the road at Smit village. He was admitted to CH Shillong.
