Narayana Guru Centre to hold medical camp

SHILLONG: In continuation to the humanitarian efforts, Sree Narayana Guru Cultural Centre (SNGCC), Shillong – a socio-cultural organization with philanthropic and charitable leanings – is organizing a free medical camp at Turha Compound, Lower Nongrim Hills on Sunday from 10am.
The camp is in collaboration with the Medical Unit of Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Jail Road, North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda & Homoeopathy (NEIAH), Mawdiangdiang and Mohanam Sree Narayana Ayurvedic Centre, Nongrim Hills looking into the medical needs of the economically weaker sections of the compound and its suburbs.
Besides free health check-ups by experienced doctors, medicines will be distributed to all who attend the camp which will be inaugurated by the local MLA Dr Jemino Mawthoh. SNGCC is eager to organize more such camps in other areas as well.
