Person stabbed
On February 12 evening, one person identified as Poimi stabbed Sain Phawa with a sharp weapon at Kyndong Tuber village (WJH), causing grievous injuries to him. Police arrested the accused.
Woman assaulted
A woman (49) lodged a complaint that on February 14 at about 8.15 pm, six persons identified as Starlinti Blah, Bakyrmen Blah, Centre Rose Blah, Fatima Blah, Sonatola Blah and Barida Blah, assaulted and outraged her modesty by cutting her hair forcibly at Langkyrdem (EKH).
Abduction bid
On the night of February 13, two unidentified occupants of Maruti Swift D’zire car (ML-05K-1407) attempted to abduct the driver of the car identified as Nihas Kr. Das, while they were proceeding from Shillong towards Guwahati.
