HC grants bail to accused in Arms Act

SHILLONG: High Court of Meghalaya has granted conditional bail to an accused from Garo Hills who was charge-sheeted in Arms Act as he was the lone supporter of his mentally ill daughter and wife who is unwell.
The single Bench of the High Court of Meghalaya on Monday  granted bail to one Dilliram G.Marak  who was arrested in December last year.
Marak is having a daughter who is mentally ill  and requires periodical check up at CMC, Vellore.  Besides, recently his wife also found out that she has liver problem and needs immediate treatment.
The High Court  while granting bail  for a sum of Rs. 1  lakh with two sureties of like amount subject to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Williamnagar, said that the accused should  not make any attempt to interfere with the trial.
