TURA: The Adhoc government employees of various departments in Garo Hills have submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister Mukul Sangma urging that their temporary appointment is regularized.
The employees who submitted the memo under the banner of the Garo Hills Adhoc Government Employees’ Association (GHAGEA) is said to have learnt that the current posts they are occupying is to be intimated to the DSC for advertisement.
They feared that such a move would force them to apply as fresh candi dates and no special consideration would be made in their favour despite their earlier services.
