SHILLONG: United South Zone Club based in Garo Hills has requested maxi cab drivers to stop reckless driving and to abide by law as it has affected the public.
Anamika Momin, president of the Club cited a case and said that a maxi cab driver at Tura resorted to hit and run without any concern recently.
The irony is that the cab owners do not take any pro active steps as they maintain that they do not bother since they drive government vehicles, Momin alleged.
