Grammy Award-win    ning musician John     Legend started a Twitter war with business tycoon and US presidental candidate Donald Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr, telling him that his father is “racist”. “Ha 5 students when asked why they were protesting couldn’t even answer. The participation medal/micro-aggression generation is pretty sad! It’s pretty embarrassing,” Trump Jr. tweeted on Friday night about the protestors at his father’s rallies.
“Trump supporters were articulate and the antis could barely speak and had no answers,” he added.
On that, Legend commented: “I think they were protesting your racist father. This isn’t complicated.”
Trfump Jr. replied: “Here we go again. That can’t be the answer for everything you don’t like. That’s why the country is so divided.”
But Legend would not let him have the last word.
“It’s just the answer when racists are saying racist s**t and are endorsed by the KKK,” he wrote, referring to Klux Klux Klan who have been seen at Trump’s rallies.
When a supporter of Trump called Legend “disgraceful” and “uneducated”, the singer fired back and said: “The Donalds and I graduated from the same University (University of Pennsylvania), funny enough.” (IANS)
