SHILLONG: Many tourists travelling to and from Bangladesh via Dawki land custom station on Monday witnessed a spat between the superintendent, Dawki customs and infiltration police.
The argument took place at around 11 am on Monday.
According to a tourist, the bone of contention of the ruckus was that the infiltration police who usually conduct checking of driving license of every truck entering Bangladesh were not allowed to do so on Monday.
Tourists added that all the driving licenses were kept in the custom office and trucks were allowed to enter Bangladesh without license leading to the infiltration police objecting to the same.
