JOWAI: West Jaintia HIlls Police at Phramer Traffic Cell arrested one person identified as Solomon Rymbai of Khliehtyrshi village for demanding money from some businessmen in West Jaintia HIlls.
Recently, WJH Police received two separate complaints, one at Ummulong Beat House and another at Phramer areas. According to police, the arrested person used a mobile phone to make the demand.
Based on the details call records, police confirmed that the accused has used the same mobile phone number to demand money from both the complainants.
On Saturday, Police nabbed Rymbai from Phramer while trying to collect the demanded amount from one of the complainants.
