Govt keen on film institute in State

SHILLONG: Information and Public Relations Minister A.L. Hek on Tuesday said the State government was keen to set up a film institute in Meghalaya.
Replying to a question by Jemino Mawthoh (UDP), Hek said workshops, seminars and film festivals have been organized to promote film festivals in the State.
He also said that Indian Panorama Festivals have been organized in collaboration with the Directorate of Film Festivals, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
