Mawshynrut thanks CM for new Sub-Division

NONGSTOIN: Chief Minister Dr.Mukul Sangma had on March 14 announced the up-gradation of Mawshynrut Administrative unit into a full-fledged Civil Sub-Division in the Assembly.
T.Lyngkhoi, President Ka Synjuk Ki Nongsynshar Shnong Riangdo area recalled that the Government during under former Chief Minister S.C.
Marak partly responded to this demand and had given the administrative unit in lieu of Civil Sub-Division.
Again, to revive the demand (L) M.War in 2009 had formed ‘The Mawshynrut Civil Sub-Division Demand Committee’ and submitted the memorandum on October 28 to Mukul Sangma, the Deputy Chief Minister at Mawthengkut and on November 2010 to D.D. Lapang, the then Chief Minister for consideration of creation of Civil Sub-Division.
Presently, the proposed Civil Sub-Division having 1614.00 sq km, 74,490 population and 318 villages has completed its journey.
(L). M.War, Ex. M.L.A has donated more than 20 acres of land for the purpose at Mawthengkut village.
‘Ka Synjuk ki Nongsynshar Shnong Riangdo Area’ conveyed special gratitude to the Chief Minister and his Government for their genuine decision and added that, “It is also worth to thanking (L) M.War Ex-M.L.A and all members of ‘Civil Sub-Division Demand Committee’, H.L Nongsiang Ex-M.L.A, all NGOs, sitting M.L.As & M.D.Cs and others who have contributed to voice to the Government for the demand of Civil Sub-Division”.
