SHILLONG: Two cases of rape have been reported in East Khasi Hills in the last couple of days.
On April 4 around 5 PM one Kenny Syiem allegedly raped a 19-year-old girl at Umlyngka. Earlier, on April 2 around 3 AM, one Marbiangki Marbaniang allegedly raped a 19-year-old girl at her house at Madanrting, Shillong and also threatened the victim with dire consequences.
