SHILLONG: The mother of late police officer PJ Marbaniang is awaiting the verdict of the Appellate Authority regarding the queries under RI related to the mysterious death of her son.
Earlier , she had filed RTI queries related to the manner in which her son died after he was found with a bullet injury on his head in January last year in his official quarter at Patharkhmah,  a day after he detained several coal laden trucks. After the Public Information Officer from Ri-Bhoi denied information, the mother filed an appeal at the police headquarter with the Appellate Authority, who will shortly pass an order.
