SHILLONG: The demand of the Seng Khasi Mawsynram, to remove the book titled “Dienjat ki Longshuwa”, written by Father J Bacchiarello, from the MBOSE syllabus will be examined by the Literary Committee of the Seng Khasi.

Rumnong said, “Education should be secular, and certain chapters should be removed if they come in conflict with the traditional religion.”
Reacting to a query on whether the Seng Khasi supports the move of Seng Khasi, Mawsynram, he said, “We will have to examine the matter after the review committee has completed examining their request.”
