Ram Navami Puja at Umiam

SHILLONG: The annual Ram Navami Puja will be celebrated  at Jwala Mai Mandir located at Mai Porbot (Raid Mawbuh), Umiam on April 15 with a day long programme.
Shree Shree Jwala Mai Durga temple is one of the oldest established in state in 1946. Thousands of devotees from all over the Northeast will join the puja . The CPC has carried out some development works at the temple premises like in the case of Nartiang temple.
CPC GS  J L Das said that many members of CPC will visit the temple.  During the hearing, though the IO told the Counsel that she returned the clothes to the mother, a letter addressed to the district social welfare officer by the IO  reveals that the sized material was properly preserved to be sent for forensic examination.
The mother had denied that the IO had returned the clothes after she and her relatives deposited  the same at the police station.
The HC wanted to know whether any return memo was submitted if the clothes were returned.
