HC verdict on Small Phawa case on April 28

SHILLONG: The High Court will deliver the order on April 28 related to the appeal of the mother of a minor rape victim against the acquittal of the accused Smal Phawa by a fast track court.
After the fast track court acquitted Phawa, the mother made an appeal before Meghalaya Legal Service Authority to take up the matter in the High Court.
Following this, the High Court held several hearings.
On Friday, after the counsels of both the parties submitted their arguments, the High Court concluded the hearing on the matter. The Court also asked the Investigating Officer to submit an affidavit.
The accused has been asked to appear before the Court on April 28
