SHILLONG: VGK Kynta Chairman, Legal and Human Rights Department, MPCC, on Saturday said that the legal cell will examine only the conflicts in laws between the State government and the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council and not the tussle between two heads, the Chief Minister and the KHADC CEM .
In a clarification, Kynta said that the constitution of the legal cell by MPCC was announced by him on Friday and there was no reference to the ongoing standoff between the two heads.
As Congress is in the ruling both in the KHADC and the State Government, the chairman of the   Legal and Human Rights Departments Kynta wanted to ensure that there is no conflict in the laws passed by both KHADC and State Government.
