SHILLONG: In less than four months as many as 520 cattle have been seized by the BSF in its special drive against cattle smuggling from Meghalaya.On Thursday, BSF troops deployed at Kalaichar and Sibbari under South West Garo Hills and South Garo Hills districts respectively seized 25 cattle. The smugglers, seeing the presence of the BSF, managed to flee from the site.Similarly, in another incident, troops of BSF deployed at Muktapur under West Jaintia Hills District seized 14 cattle.
