SHILLONG: Police has sustained eight persons for their involvement in the theft of several cattle in East Garo Hills On April 25, Sella R Sangma, Nokma of Cherangre village in East Garo hills and twenty-three others lodged a complaint that eight persons surrendered before the villagers in a meeting, for their involvement in the theft of several cattle belonging to different owners of Cherangre, Rongrenggre, Chachatgre and Nengmandalgre villages
