SHILLONG: Former Congress legislator and current BJP leader KC Boro has denied media reports that has he joined the NPP.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Boro said that it is a fact that as BJP member he is campaigning for NPP candidate Conrad Sangma for Tura by poll as per the direction of High Command, but it is not true that he has joined the NPP. “In this regard I would like to reiterate that I am in BJP and will stick to the party both in good and bad days,” Boro asserted adding that vested interests are spreading rumours through media which should be condemned.
