Guwahati: Suspected Pakistani hackers on Monday allegedly brought down a website of Kaziranga National Park of Assam, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its one-horned rhinocerous.
Pakistani hackers brought down the website ‘kaziranga.assam.gov.in’, an official portal containing information on the National Park.
The homepage carried a national flag of Pakistan, with ‘Pakistan zindabad’ written across the page, local TV reports said.
‘We are team Pak cyber hackers’ the hackers posted on the homepage of the website.
A similar cyber attack on 25 websites of Assam government, including Assam police sites, was orchestrated by suspected Pakistani hackers on October 6 last year. (UNI)
