On May 25 around 4 am, the body of Md. Josibul Rahman (16) was found hanging from a tree at Haripur village in West Garo Hills. The deceased had reportedly gone missing from his residence at the village on May 24.
Man attempts to rape six-year-old
In a shocking incident, on May 22 at around 11.30 pm, one M. Kephrin Latang attempted to rape a six-year-old girl in CNI Lower Primary School at Mawlynnong village in East Khasi Hills.
