D. El. Ed exams: Nodal Officer clarifies

SHILLONG: Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) trainees who missed out on their first year examinations due to the Tura by-election can take their tests in October-November this year.
In a statement issued to the press on Sunday, Meghalaya SSA School Association (MSSASA) central body general secretary H.M. Marbaniang said that during his meeting with the Nodal Officer, National Institute in Open Schooling, S Pde recently, the latter informed that the first year trainees can proceed to the second year course which will be commence from June 2016 and can appear for the first year papers in October-November 2016.
Marbaniang also learnt that the Nodal Officer, NIOS is waiting for the response from the headquarter in Noida to declare the D.El.Ed second year results.
