Thefts
On May 30 at around 10.30 pm, unknown miscreants stole one tyre from a Maruti car (ML-05K-7647) belonging to Hubert Binan, parked at Lower Lachumiere.
On May 30, unknown miscreants stole one camera, a laptop, cell phone and a hard drive from the house of Kansik Saikia at Bishnupur.
Accidents
On May 30 at around 3.15 pm, one Maruti car (ML-05K-6410) collided with one Maruti Alto-800 car (ML-05K-9425) at Sadew in East Khasi Hills. As a result, one occupant of the Alto-800 car sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital.
On May 30 at around 5.55 pm, an accident took place between one local taxi (ML-05G-6053) driven by Royalmoon Kharkongor (27) and one scooty (ML-05H-8721) ridden by Balindra Nath (52) at Jylli Shop, Nongthymmai. As a result, the scooty rider sustained injuries and was removed to Shillong Civil Hospital.
On May 30 at around 11 pm, one Maruti car (ML-05J-5164) driven by Wanskhemborlang Kharmalai (23) dashed against a guard wall at Mawiongrim, Shillong. The driver sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital Shillong.
Assault, threat
Kimchi Ch Marak lodged a complaint that on May 22, her husband Emolen Sangma assaulted her in their residence at Dilsigre village in West Garo Hills and also threatened her and her family members with dire consequences.
Fraud
Bawanhunshisha Lyngwa lodged a complaint that one Aibalin Pyngrope borrowed Rs. 7,80,000  from her on June 15, 2015. Later, the borrower refused to repay the amount and even denied to have taken the money.
