NONGSTOIN: Nongstoin MDC L.G. Nongsiej on Monday inaugurated the Rilang LP&UP School at Tyllang in West Khasi Hills.
The school began on a humble note on February 28, 2014, with Class A to Class V and due to the untiring efforts of the managing committee and the teachers the school was upgraded to Class VIII with a total strength of 96 students and 10 teachers.
On the occasion, the school managing committee submitted a memorandum to the MDC seeking assistance for construction of an RCC building for the school. Nongsiej thanked the founders of the school for their endeavour and vision. He assured that he would provide necessary assistance to the school.
