UALA disbanding now on June 9

SHILLONG: The disbanding ceremony of UALA scheduled to be held on Wednesday has been postponed to Thursday.
West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Pravin Bakshi who is also the Chairman, District Level Committee, which is monitoring the talks, said on Monday that the disbanding ceremony of UALA has been postponed to June 9 as per fresh directions received.
Meanwhile, verification has already started for the UALA cadres and the arms which are to be handed over are being compiled and organized for the disbanding ceremony.
