SHILLONG: The BSF troops deployed at Purnanagar, East Khasi Hills district in an operation along with Meghalaya police apprehended one smuggler Madhu Koch (57), along with 7840 packets of beedi. The beedies were entirely hidden in leaves meant to be smuggled to associates in Bangladesh.
