B’deshis atempted robbery, shoot victim

SHILLONG: In a rather shocking incident, armed Bangladeshi nationals shot one Gilbert M Marak while he was returning home on his motorcycle at Bagli under Borsora, in South West Khasi Hills, on Thursday.
On Thursday night, while Marak was returning home, the armed Bangladeshi men attempted to rob him and while he managed to escape the armed men shot at him.
In the incident, the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital, Shillong. The matter is under investigation.
