Committee formed
The local complaints committee of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013, Ri-Bhoi, was constituted to look into complaints of sexual harassment of women at workplace. Complaints can be sent in writing to the office of the District Social Welfare Officer, Nongpoh.
Yoga
The North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda & Homeopathy celebrated International Yoga Day at its campus at Mawdiang-diang. A 45 minutes practical yoga session was conducted after the inaugural function.
