One held with gelatin sticks

SHILLONG: Police on Thursday night arrested one person along with huge cache of gelatin sticks and other items in West Khasi Hills. The arrested person has been identified as Ricomfort Nongsiej. Police, acting on a Village Defence Party (VDP) input, seized his vehicle (ML-05C-6785) from Shillong-Nongstoin road. 180 gelatin sticks, nineteen rolls of fuse wire and four hundred non-electric detonators were recovered from the vehicle, police said.
