Cattle seized

SHILLONG: In a chance seizure, the State Police detained a truck loaded with 19 cattle which met with an accident at Mirjhumla tri-junction (SWGH) on Wednesday.
According to Police report, the truck (ML-08C-7792) was transporting illegal cattle and the accident resulted in injuries to an occupant who was removed to Civil Hospital Tura, while the driver of the truck fled away. The cattle was seized.
