SHILLONG: Five persons were injured after they were struck by lightning in Rilong village under Umsning in Ri-Bhoi district on Sunday night.
The injured were identified as Daiabok Mawlong (23), Richmon Mawlong (23), Macdonald Wann (22), Franklin Dkhar (21) and Franklin Dhar (23).
They were admitted to a hospital in Ri-Bhoi district for treatment.
