The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), West Garo Hills, has asked all government servants whose names have been included in the list of beneficiaries as per Socio Economic Caste Census 2011 and who have been provided with Priority Household (PHH) cards under NFSA, 2013 to surrender their cards with immediate effect.

The Additional Director, Central Pollution Control, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change has issued instructions to the public to restraint from making any statement to media persons on matters related to the cases being dealt at Tribunal or Courts and also to refer to the Tribunal’s website for information on any matter related to the orders passed.
Programme launch
The office of the District Medical & Health Officer, Shillong under the aegis of National Health Mission will organize a programme to launch the Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan on July 9 at St. Jerome School, Nongmynsong, at 10 AM. A free medical camp for women and children will also be organised where gynaecologists and pediatrician from Ganesh Das Hospital and NEIGRIHMS will be available for consultation.

Food festival
The Seng Kur Suting will organize a food festival on July 9 from 11 AM to 6 PM at St. Jerome Secondary School, Nongmynsong to collect fund for the silver jubilee to be held in October, 2016. A Housie bumper of Rs 1,50,000 will be held at 3 PM.
Tirot Sing day
The Association of Taekwondo Martial Art will organize the 26th Meghalaya Open Taekwondo Championship, Marathon and cleaning drive on July 17 at Golf Link to observe the birth anniversary of U Tirot Sing Syiem. Cabinet Minister A.L. Hek will be the chief guest.
